I like this room more with the couch that I found in the Chelsea flea market. I'm happy about the result of my spontaneous decision-making. Yellow is not my favorite color, but it works out nicely here. It's warm but gentle, not dominating. The couch is long and slim, and can easily accommodate a comfortable nap. It's soft yet solid, with its 60's styling and cold war mystery.

The living room
The light, the windows and the arches are my favorite

Yellow is far from my favourite colour and yet I have now picked up three separate yellow 'things' for our apartment that have made me really like it for interiors. A set of 6 nubby wool dining chairs were left by someone moving out of our building -- SCORE! Then I got a wooden office chair plus architect lamp in yellow as well that I quite like. You should get some daffodils and when they are peaking it is SO lovely!
BTW I saw somewhere someone complaining about the black window frames often found in NY apartments -- they look SO GOOD here in your place, accenting the lines. I also love your arches, so special.
